Location

Echopool is in the most northerly point of the Dordogne which puts us in The Perigord National Park.
 
It is a simple journey mostly on the motorway and has been done several times in less than 6 hours, when you plan your route make sure you don't end up in the centre of Paris.

A 10 minute drive away is the small town of St.Mathieu. It is easy to find and has very well stocked supermarket there are also bars and cafe's that do snack food during the day and evening meals, newsagent/tabac, pharmacy, bank and a post office, so most things can be found here.
 
40 minutes away is the city of Angouleme, where you will find everything you might need, there are also a lot of historical places to visit which we can supply imfomation on if needed.
  
Tasha goes to the shops in St.Mathieu regularly and is happy to pick up anything you might need.
