Lakes and onsite facilities
There is a small cabin right on the edge of the lake which contains a shower and toilet, there is room inside for storage and we also use this cabin to display tackle and imformation.
The Carp Lakes
Having visited many different carp fishing lakes, we came to the conclusion that big lake acreage didn't necessarily mean you had a greater area to fish, for example if you were to book your group on a 40 acre lake what are the chances of you having the entire place to yourselves?

Surely it is more likely that you will be just designated swims on arrival or worse than that your the last group to turn up and have no choice but to fish no carp corner! and then spend the rest of the week watching someone else catch all the carp and realizing they had never been in your swim, carp are unpredictable and unfair, just because you paid the same for your swim as the next man doesn't mean they will give you a chance, so how great would it be to know if the carp don't come to you, you can go to the them.
Now because with us you are the only group fishing, there is no rush to pick your swim, you can take the time to study the water and decide on a plan of action amongst yourselves, you can put your bait were the carp actually are and of course if they move you are in the position to do the same, every feature will be within your reach and you will not have to worry about treading on any one else's toes or vice versa as you are only with your friends.
There are approximately 3 acres of water at Echopool. The main lake is up to 14ft deep, it has deep margins and a hard bottom made up of gravel and sand with just a couple of silty areas, it is spring and stream fed so there is a good constant flow of water, that combined with the depth helps to maintain a constant temperature, so during the summer months when a lot of other waters switch off ours keeps producing.
